Jon Slenzak has been a major contributor to this project, initially for the springy bits, but also in various bits and bobs on the tricky wrap up (still ongoing)

A largely anglicised Californian Jon Slenzak has worked in motorsport for over 40 years, and for the most part of that in suspension.

His journey through race paddocks has seen him work for Husqvarna, Suzuki, Cagiva, WP and Yamaha, in everything from Factory MX to MotoGP and, in the car world even very recent F1 stuff.

He’s had his own company specialising in springy bits since 1992 and has a job list full of forks, shocks and dampers from classic stuff that he’s making work like new.

Suspension is something a lot of people pretend to understand, but very few do – you won’t be in Jon’s company for long before you realise which side of the line he falls!

If like me, you only pretend to understand suspension and need help, talk to Jon. Classic or modern he knows this stuff backwards, upside down and with the lights off.

Plus, and this is an important trait for any company – he’s great to deal with, and charges very fairly given the level of experience you’re getting access to!
